Help us continue to provide free services to those who need them

Richmond Foundation has recently experienced an increase in demand for its services and a reduction in resources caused by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In the coming weeks and months this may place significant strains on Richmond Foundation’s human resources. Therefore, we are putting into place a Contingency Plan, based on Professional and Support Volunteers.

We need Skilled Professional Volunteers and Support Volunteers

Richmond Foundation requires Skilled Professional Volunteers  and Support Volunteers . Below find the details regarding the two types of volunteering calls and a registration form for each.

CALL FOR SKILLED PROFESSIONALS

Richmond Foundation invites skilled professionals to support our operations as Volunteers.

If you have qualifications and experience in any of the following areas, we encourage you to register 

  • Social Work
  • Psychology
  • Psychotherapy
  • Counselling
  • Psychiatric Nursing
  • Youth Work

Requirements:

Candidates need to

  • have at least two years of professional experience,

Type of voluntary work: Work can range from online emotional support to work on the ground in our residential hostels.

Duration: from 3-12 months (with possibility of extension)

Starting date: We may require candidates to be available at short notice (2-3 weeks)

Training: Richmond Foundation will provide an induction training to all the volunteers recruited.

Register to provide your professional service on a voluntary basis

CALL FOR SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Richmond Foundation invites persons to act as Support Volunteers.

No qualifications or any particular experience is required.

Type of voluntary work: Work can range from delivery of items to administration support work.

Duration: from 3-12 months (with possibility of extension)

Starting date: We may require candidates to be available at short notice (2-3 weeks)

Training: Richmond Foundation will provide an induction training to all the volunteers recruited.
