The Training Institute Officer will support the successful delivery of educational programmes by providing administrative services and continuously improving operational efficiency through best practice implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end admissions process by accurately processing applications, maintaining detailed records in the institute’s information system.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate proactively with both prospective and enrolled students to guide them through admissions procedures, enrolment requirements, deadlines, and course registration, while also managing waitlists and ensuring clear, timely updates on course availability.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the training institute and external service providers by assisting in course development, scheduling, and quality-assured curriculum updates.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of academic records, including transcripts, grades, and progress reports, while facilitating effective communication and coordination among staff, providers and participants.
- Act as the central point of contact for inquiries related to training programmes, collaborating closely with internal departments, external partners, service providers, and participants.
- Support the promotion of training offerings while nurturing strong, professional relationships with clients and participants to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Employ data-driven analysis to evaluate training processes, gather and assess feedback, and make informed recommendations to enhance training content, methods, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Hold a University qualification in a caring profession such as Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Health Care Management.
- Experience in administrative support within educational or training settings.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment,
- Commitment to continuous improvement and best practices.
- Familiarity with educational regulations and data-driven evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English is considered an asset.
