Our Art Group is held with the users of all services provided by Richmond Foundation every month.

The group is primarily meant to offer a safe space where each individual can express themselves freely through art.

Exercises include;

  • Exploring the effects of different colours on people by using variations of that particular colour in a drawing /painting
  • Exploring the subjective definition of different emotions by drawing or painting different emotions
  • Exploring the calming effects of detail work by colouring in mandala and mindfulness drawings

We put calming music in the background and focus on encouraging the clients to let go of their worries.

Even though we do show some techniques along the way, the ultimate objective of each exercise is for each individual to vent and enjoy the process.
